SSI Explorers - Unforgettable Aquatic Adventures for Kids!

The SSI Explorers program allows children starting at age six* to go underwater and sample the different ways they can explore the aquatic world around them. They will gain a solid foundation in ocean conservation and have the opportunity to experience four main aquatic adventures: snorkeling, scuba diving, freediving, and swimming like a real mermaid. These underwater adventures will enable young divers to acquire maturity, self-esteem, and a sense of responsibility.

*Some programs have a minimum requirement of 8 years of age.

How does the SSI Explorers program work?

Participants must complete the Blue Oceans and Snorkel Explorers programs first.
This provides a solid foundation for water skills and the importance of protecting the aquatic environment.

SSI Blue Oceans Explorer

This classroom based program provides an introduction of the importance of protecting and preserving the world’s oceans. Your child will learn why the oceans are important, about the world’s five oceans, and what they can do to help protect the oceans.

Snorkel Explorer

Your child can then head to the pool to learn about snorkel equipment and snorkeling skills to earn their Snorkel Explorer rating.
